The City has previously purchased seven (7) parking meters from Harrington Resources Inc. Two meters were purchased last year in FY 12-13 and five meters were recently purchased in March of this year FY13-14. |

Description of Action |

This agenda item requests City Commission approval for an additional five (5) meters to replace the remaining five (5) old meters for the Dania Beach Ocean Park. The old meters have become a continuous maintenance and operation problem for the City staff and citizens. The purchase of these meters will complete the replacement of all the meters at the beach. For additional background information, attached is a copy of the agenda memorandum that was submitted to the Commission for the previous parking meter purchases. |
